The location is great and convenient, with easy access to various areas of Vienna through tram and subway stations. As a light sleeper, I appreciated the comfortable and practical design of my room, which had a cozy bed, ample storage space, and essential amenities like a fridge and safe. The cleanliness and tidiness of the room were impressive. The receptionist was also friendly and helpful, adding to a positive experience.

For the price we paid, the Riess City Hotel - Self Check-In was a great value. The room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of storage. The powerful shower in the bathroom was a nice touch. The location was fantastic, with supermarkets, restaurants, and public transportation just a stone's throw away. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, even providing a complimentary bottle of wine and treats for New Year's.

The breakfast could use improvement.

I stayed at Goldener Baer for a few nights and I had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, with the canal, restaurants, and supermarkets just a stone's throw away. The hotel had a modern dorm-like feel, but it was surprisingly low-cost and effective. The staff was polite and the communication was smooth. The room was spacious with plenty of storage, and the communal kitchen was well-equipped and even offered free snacks. it was a great value for money in an expensive city.

communication issues

Great self, catering accommodation in the heart of the city. Walking distance to historical and cultural sights. Clean and reasonably sized rooms. Well, stocked shared kitchen with all necessary appliances and utensils. Helpful and English, speaking receptionist.

Poor communication. Reception staff only available for a few hours.

The hotel facilities were amazing, with a well-equipped kitchen available for use and even a laundry room where we could leave our luggage before and after check-in and check-out.

It was so convenient to have everything within walking distance. Secondly, the rooms were really well-equipped. I loved that they had a full kitchen with all the necessary equipment, perfect for those who want to cook their own meals. The big windows in the room were also a nice touch, as it allowed for plenty of fresh air. Lastly, the breakfast provided was excellent. Although coffee wasn't included, the variety of options available was impressive.
